Incorta Nexus Setup

Prerequisites

  • Incorta Premium is enabled
  • Advanced SQLi is enabled (for Nexus Business Assistant)

Turn on Nexus

To enable Nexus, please contact your Account Executive. Once Incorta enables Nexus in the Incorta backend, you can verify the Incorta Nexus toggle is active in the Cloud Admin Portal. Once enabled, proceed to confirm Nexus is running.

Note

Starting 2025.7.1, Incorta Copilot has been renamed to Incorta Nexus.

Verify Nexus

To verify if Nexus is working correctly:

  1. Log in as Super Admin.
  2. Enable a business view:
    1. Edit the business schema.
    2. Select More options (⋮) for the verified view.
    3. Select Enable for Incorta Nexus.
    4. Save the business schema.
  3. Open Nexus Chat and select the business view that you have enabled.
  4. Ask a simple question like “What are the total entries in this table?”. This returns a KPI for the total rows in the table.

Restarting Nexus

Some configurations in the Cluster Management Console (CMC) will require Nexus to be restarted. To restart Nexus:

  1. Log in to the Cloud Admin Portal.
  2. For the target cluster, navigate to the Configurations tab.
  3. In the right pane, select Enable Copilot.
  4. Toggle off Enable Copilot.
  5. Toggle on Enable Copilot once more.

Use the above instructions to verify Nexus has been restarted (this can take a few minutes).
