Incorta Nexus Setup
Prerequisites
- Incorta Premium is enabled
- Advanced SQLi is enabled (for Nexus Business Assistant)
Turn on Nexus
To enable the Nexus, please contact your Account Executive. Once Incorta enables the Nexus in the Incorta backend, you can verify the Incorta Nexus toggle is active in the Cloud Admin portal. Once enabled, proceed to confirm the Nexus is running.
Note
Starting with the 2025.7.1 release, Incorta Copilot has been renamed to Incorta Nexus.
Verify the Nexus
To verify if the Nexus is working correctly:
- Log in as
Super Admin. - Go to a Physical Schema and create a Materialized View.
- Select the Interactive Notebook option.
- Select the Nexus icon on the right side of the Navigation bar. If you can not see it, either Nexus is not enabled for this cluster, or you have not logged in as
Super Admin. Choose any schema and table. - Type
@advanced Hi, who are you? - Verify the Nexus introduces itself. If not, the Nexus has not been correctly configured.
Restarting the Nexus
Some configurations in the CMC will require the Nexus to be restarted. To restart the Nexus:
- Open the Cloud Admin console.
- Toggle off the Nexus.
- Toggle on the Nexus once more.
- Use the above instructions to verify the Nexus has been restarted (this can take a few minutes).
