Data Applications → Power BI dashboards for Oracle EBS
This guide shows you how to install and configure this data application.
What does it do?
This data application significantly shortens the time it takes to find insights in your Oracle EBS data using Power BI dashboards with Incorta. After deploying and loading your Oracle EBS data in Incorta, visualize it with our customizable Power BI dashboards. This application includes sample dashboards and metrics for multiple Oracle EBS modules.
Answer questions like:
- Who are our top suppliers?
- Do they have any outstanding payments due?
- Which booked orders aren’t shipped yet?
- Which sales orders are open?
Requirements
To install this data application you need:
- Microsoft Power BI installed and configured. For instructions, check out Integrations → Microsoft Power BI.
- Read level access for the following business schemas, granted by your administrator:
- OrderManagementTableau
- PaymentsTableau
- GeneralLedgerTableau

Step 1: Install the data application
If you’re an administrator, you can install the application in the Incorta Cloud Administrator Portal (CAP). If you’re a different type of user, you can install it in Incorta Analytics.
(Administrators) To install in the CAP:
- Sign in to the CAP.
- Select Data Apps in the navigation bar.
- Search for and Install the following applications: Oracle EBS Procure to Pay, Oracle EBS Order To Cash, Oracle EBS General Ledger, and Power BI dashboards for Oracle EBS.
(Other users) To install in Incorta Analytics:
- Sign in to Incorta Analytics.
- Select Marketplace in the navigation bar.
- Search for and Contact to Install the following applications: Oracle EBS Procure to Pay, Oracle EBS Order To Cash, Oracle EBS General Ledger, and Power BI dashboards for Oracle EBS. Contact to Install contacts your administrator to install the application.
Step 2: Configure the data application
- Download the PBIX files using this link.
- Access the PBIX file location in Excel under File → Open Report → Browse Reports.
- Select the PBIX file, then select Open.
- In the ribbon, select Transform data → Data source settings.
- In the Data source settings popup window, select Change source….
- In the PostgreSQL database popup window, enter the following details for your instance and select OK:

- In the Data source settings popup window, select Edit permissions…
- In the Edit Permissions popup window, select Edit.
- In the PostgreSQL database popup window, enter your Incorta User name and Password. Select Save.
- Select OK in the Edit Permissions popup window.
- In the Data Source Settings popup window, select Close.
- In the alert message under the Excel ribbon, apply Apply changes.
- Save the report under File → Save.
- To update the data, select Refresh in the Excel ribbon.
