Cloud multi-services

For Incorta cloud users, you can now create multiple services for Analytics and Loader per cluster using the cloud admin portal (CAP). You can also restart, stop, or delete the available services. You can do that in bulk action, if you have multiple services created, or per service.

Note

You can only have one Notebook Service per cluster.

To manage your services, apply the following steps:

  • Log in to your cloud admin portal.
  • Connect your cluster, and then open it.
  • Select the Configurations tab.

Under Services, you can find the following:

  • vertical ellipsis icon in each services group. The icon opens a menu that contains the following actions:

    • Start all
    • Stop all
    • Restart all
    • Delete services
  • + icon to add more Loader or Analytics services. When selecting the add icon, enter the number of services you need, and then select Add.

  • Stop and Restart buttons available per each available service.

When you select Delete services, you enter the number of services you need to delete. Incorta starts scaling down by deleting the latest service created, leaving at least one service running.

Cloud social login

Incorta now includes a social login feature on Incorta Cloud. Both new and current users of Incorta, can now log in and sign up to Incorta Cloud using their Google account or their Microsoft account. Existing users can link their social account to their existing Incorta account and, subsequently, activate single click log-ins going forward.

Advanced Configurations in the Cloud Admin Portal

Starting this release, Incorta is migrating the server and tenant configurations previously available in the CMC (Cluster Management Console) to the new Advanced Configurations tab in the Cloud Admin Portal. As a result, the Incorta Cloud Admin Portal can now manage the end-to-end cluster configurations from a single portal without the need to sign into the CMC.

You must connect your cluster to be able to view or change any configuration. Under the Advanced Configurations tab, you will see two sub-tabs:

  • Server Configurations
  • Tenant Configurations (<tenant_name>)
Important

For old Incorta versions with multi-tenant clusters, you will find multiple tabs for the tenant configurations per each available tenant.

For more information about the available configurations, refer to Configure Tenant and Configure Server.
