Incorta Component SDK overview
The Incorta Component SDK enables Incorta customers and partners to develop custom visual and non-visual components to help them build different insights.
In addition to the set of visualizations that Incorta offers, with the Component SDK, you can develop any kind of components that you want to use in building your insights and dashboards.
Important
Starting with the Incorta Cloud release 2022.4.0, you must re-download and install the Component SDK from GitHub to be compatible with the newest Incorta version. Also, previously developed charts must be modified and recompiled.
Here is a brief of the steps you must follow to develop your own custom component:
- Create an Incorta Cloud account
- Contact Incorta Support to enable the Component SDKNote
Starting the 2022.6.0 release, the Component SDK is enabled by default.
- Complete all prerequisites.
- Download and start the Component SDK.
- Develop your component.
- Build your project and create a package to upload it to your list of external components.
- Use the component you developed.
