Release Notes 5.2.1

Release Highlights

In the 5.2.1 release, Incorta is adding back support for Incorta Intelligent Ingest. This release is compatible with the new Excel add-in 16.8.1. Also, configured data destinations are now included during the export and import process of tenants.

What’s New?

Incorta Intelligent Ingest

In the 5.2.1 release, the Incorta Intelligent Ingest is available with fewer configuration steps. For more information, refer to Configure Incorta Intelligent Ingest for Azure Synapse.

Important

When upgrading from Incorta version 5.1.4 to the latest 5.2.1 release, you need to manually delete the old Python egg file in the following path: <INCORTA_INSTALLATION_PATH>/IncortaAnalytics/IncortaNode/incorta.ml/lib/incorta_synapse-<VERSION>.egg, and install the Intelligent Ingest wheel file.

Data Destinations in tenant export and import process

Now you do not need to reconfigure your data destinations if you export and import an already existing tenant or schema. Incorta has enhanced the schema and tenant export and import processes to include the configured data destinations. This enhancement is also reflected when you use the command line interface (CLI) to export and import a schema or a tenant.

New Excel Add-in v16.8.1

This release is compatible with the new version of the Excel Add-in. The new version is cross-platform, supporting both Excel for Windows and Excel for Mac. It also supports centralized deployment, hence, simplifying the deployment of the Excel Add-in to local machines.
