Release Model
Like many enterprise and cloud software companies, Incorta offers a release model to help your organization achieve success. In this release model, there are two release statuses:
Preview
The Preview status indicates an initial release that contains new features and functionality. A Preview release is suitable only for a standalone or cluster Development environment. This means that a Preview release is not suitable for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or Production environments.
Incorta Support is not able to provide support for a Preview release in a Production environment.
Incorta offers a Preview release for specific customers and partners that agree to the following in their Development environment:
- Upgrade from a previous Generally Available release to the Preview release.
- Perform testing of new features and functionality with a subset or copy of their Development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), or Production physical schemas, business schemas, and dashboards that includes loading data.
- Work with Incorta to identify and report any issues.
- If applicable, apply any software patches.
- If applicable, upgrade to any maintenance packs.
- When applicable, upgrade from the Preview Release to a Generally Available release.
- In order address and resolve any identified issues, Incorta may share additional special software patches.
The following table characterizes additional attributes of a Preview release:
Description | Notes |
---|---|
Availability | Incorta works with specific customers and partners that agree to the terms of the Preview release program. |
