Connect Incorta to Microsoft Teams

You can easily connect your Microsoft Teams (MS Teams) workspace with Incorta to be able to send dashboards to your users.

Configure Microsoft Teams

To start sending dashboards to Microsoft Teams, you need to configure Incorta application on Microsoft Teams and configure Microsoft Teams in Incorta Cluster Management Console (CMC).

Configure Incorta Microsoft Teams Channels

  1. In MS Team Channel, add an Incoming Webhook connector.
  2. Configure the webhook by adding a name and an image.
  3. Copy the webhook configured URL to add the channel in Incorta.

Configure Microsoft Teams in CMC

In the CMC, enable the Incorta Teams Integration option from Cluster Configurations > Default Tenant Configurations > Integration.

Important

If you enable or disable the integrations while having Analytics open, you must ask your users to refresh the browser for the change to take effect.

Send dashboard to Microsoft Teams

  1. Log in to Incorta Analytics.
  2. Select your dashboard.
  3. Select the Share icon from the Action Bar, then Send/Schedule a Report.
  4. Select Communication Platform as your sharing option.
  • For the first time you use this option:
    • Enter a Channel Name.
    • Paste the webhook URL you configured for this channel.
    • Select whether to show it to all users or just yourself.
    • Select Add Channel.
  • For already existing channels, select the needed channel.
  1. (Optionally) Enter a message to associate with the shared dashboard.
  2. Select Done.

Supported dashboard formats

Currently, you can only send dashboard URL to Microsoft Teams, which means only users with access to this dashboard can view it.
