Create an IAM Role and Policy for Incorta

Create an IAM role and Policy to allow Incorta EC2 instance to access S3 bucket to be used for backup and restore.

  1. Go to this link: https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home?region=us-east-2#/home.
  2. Select Policies.
  3. Select Create Policy.
  4. Select service S3.
  5. Select Resources to add bucket name.
  6. Select Review policy.
  7. Select Create Policy

  1. Select Role.
  2. Select Create Role.
  3. Select EC2 service, then Next.
  4. Select the policy you created, then Next: Tags.
  5. Select Next.
  6. Select Create role.
